Nonprofit Rocketship Education Files Appeal to Santa Clara County Office of Education to Open New School in the Franklin-McKinley District

an Jose, CA – Yesterday, Rocketship Education, a nonprofit network of elementary schools, presented its appeal to the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) Board to open a new school within the Franklin-McKinley School District. This school would be Rocketship’s third in the district. Opening an additional school was the subject of extensive advocacy by local parents, community leaders, and the families currently on the waiting lists at Rocketship’s two other schools in the district.
